In general, humans will pray to gods that factor in their daily lives. Farmers will leave offerings for the gods of agriculture and weather. Merchants will pray to the gods of money, crafts, and trickery. They leave their offerings at shrines at least once a month. If not, the gods may become angry with them.

Sometimes, gods may also be lazy or careless. This will cause trouble for their followers. A crop god may not urge on this year's crop very well, and it will wilt despite the farmer's multiple sacrifices.

The god of the dead gets to chose what humans believe happens to them when they die. (I just know some goth wannabe's gonna take this role :P) Gods dealing with the afterlife, souls, and birth will also collaberate on this description.
