Agrario is a peaceful place, and most of the inhabitants are farmers, raising livestock. A few of them farm crops, but the crops are not traded and only grown to suffice the village. The two chief exports are lumber from the forest and its animals, who are said to be bred from the best stock in the land. The village itself is located right at the crux of a thin river, Rio Viento and the woodland's edge.
Huts are made of wood and mud, and are often circular with plank roofs. They are painted with juice from berries and minerals. To the north of the village, the building set farthest into the sparse woods, is the altar, Piadoso, which is made of almost rickety wood that has been beautifully carved. Here, offerings are made to the animal gods, who govern their livestock and the other mortals, to an extent.
In the more open area are the animal pens, much like the pens used by Native Americans. They all border the Rio Viento, which acts as a fourth wall and allows the animals access to clean, fresh, cool water at any time. The pens are usually gender segregated, and are about a square half-mile for every 30 of each species, with smaller pens for smaller numbers of animals. A few trees grow in each one, providing some shade to their inhabitants. In the pens are cattle, goats, sheep, pigs, and horses. Some horses are kept near the village for easy access when the owner's animals are kept in a pen a long distance from the village. The livestock are often preyed upon by wolves, coyotes, cougars, and bears. A few mongrel dogs live in the village to help herd the animals and to guard them.
